New Zealand Jerky is the only non-GMO, grass-fed jerky on the market. They have zero awareness. And almost zero money. But we love them and want them to be famous and make a gazillion dollars.
Their tagline is "Serious Meat." We enlisted the New Zealand comedy community to see just how serious. Tim Batt gamely went to the pastures, a rough room if there ever was one, to prove just how serious New Zealand Jerky meat really is. Of course, he didn't get a single laugh. We put the results of this comedy experiement into a super-efficient video pre-roll buy, directed at an audience we liked to call Natural Meaters.
Overall, the campaign exceeded all benchmarks. The campaign delivered 2,237,000 total views and 468,407 completed video views at an average video completion rate of 21% and an $0.08 CPCV (over 2X more efficient than goal CPCVs). Ad recall lift—the likelihood of people to remember ads a couple days later—was 25% on Facebook and Instagram (2X goal). And total completed video views exceeded campaign goal by 255%.
