Blue Chalk Media was hired by SEE International to create a high-quality short film about the work they do in Namibia that would reach viewers on an emotional level.
To achieve this, Blue Chalk relied on the skills of celebrated photojournalist Brent Stirton, award-winning cinematographer, Robert Wilson and accomplished editor Greg Snider. Shot on location in Namibia, the story required quick thinking on the ground and careful consideration of featured characters. Following delivery of footage, original music was composed to match the images to help evoke a sense of place and add to the emotional and uplifting tone of the film.
“A Chance To See Again” was released to the public on December 7th, 2016 on the SEE International website It was also released on National Geographic’s Short Film Showcase platform and shared through Upworthy. So far, the film has received over 500,000 views.
